Date stamp in Field Notes

I am setting up my drawing format. I wish to have a brief date stamp of when original file was created. Under Create Note - Fields tab - File Properties - Created at (delimiter) I get |108. I create note as |108|108 and I get the date stamp of original file creation, good. But it displays as ( Sunday, February 07, 2016 3:29:18 PM Eastern Standard Time ) Is there a way to abbreviate it to just the date 00/00/00? I am not very clever at KXL so any help would be great.
