Chimney refractory brick Introduction
Chimney is one of the necessary equipment in industrial production and life.The refractory brick used for the lining of the chimney shall be selected according to the following conditions: when the exhaust gas temperature is greater than 500℃, the firebrick shall be used as the refractory lining and the clay firebrick shall be used as the material.When the flue gas temperature is lower than 500℃, the sintered ordinary clay brick is used.Smokestacks that drain out corrosive smoke are lined with corrosion-resistant materials such as high-alumina firebricks or acid-resistant bricks.
Clay Chimney refractory brick
The mineral composition of clay brick is mainly kaolinite and 6%~7% impurities (oxides of potassium, sodium, calcium, titanium and iron). The content of AL2O3 of clay brick is 48-85%, and the fire resistance is 1250-1480 ℃.

High alumina refractory brick
High alumina brick is a kind of aluminosilicate refractory material, its alumina oxide content is above 48%.It is made of bauxite or calcined with high alumina content.High thermal stability, refractoriness above 1770℃.Good slag resistance, suitable for lining of masonry steel-making electric furnace, glass furnace, cement wheel and aluminum furnace, with excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for chimney construction in acid and alkaline environment.

Choice of Chimney refractory brick shape
The inner wall of the chimney should be made of firebrick or special brick according to the shape of the chimney:
(1) If the chimney is round, you need to choose special-shaped firebrick, such as axe-shaped refractory brick or wedge-shaped refractory brick.Some refractory castable/refractory cement will be better in the gap.
(2) If the chimney is rectangular, then use standard firebrick.The gap with refractory castable/refractory cement is better.
