Product Description
The Al2O3 content of the Fire clay Brick is from 30-50%.During the manufacturing,first mix the clay chamotte with refractory clay powder,then prepared with clay aggregate into dry mud,high pressure molding,sintering at about 1400C.Under high temperature,the fire clay bricks show weakly acidic,and the ability of resistance to alkaline slag erosion is poor,but with the increase of the content of Al203,the thermal stability of fire clay bricks is better than silica brick, magnesia brick and so on.
The common problem of anchor bricks
The common problem of anchor bricks in use is fracture. The reason for fracture is directly related to three aspects of stress, the first tensile strength, the second compressive strength, and the third shear stress. The most common is that in addition to the tensile stress caused by gravity, it also bears a large shear stress during use. Because the temperature of the upper layer not buried in the castable is quite different from that of the lower layer, and the physical expansion after heating is also quite different, the temperature difference shear force will occur between the middle layers, and the magnitude of the shear force is the same as It is related to the expansion coefficient produced by the anchored brick after the temperature difference changes.
Consider anchoring bricks from the production aspect: one is refractoriness, and the other is tensile strength. The refractoriness is generally not a problem, the most important thing is the tensile strength. We are currently paying the most attention to the cold tensile strength of the brick. Because the weight of the entire furnace top hangs on the neck of the upper part of the hanging brick, which is often at a low temperature, so as long as the normal temperature strength of the brick is sufficient, it will not break, but if the normal temperature strength is insufficient, the so-called so-called will occur.
The material of the hanging brick and its strength characteristics at different temperatures, the strength of sintered refractory products mainly comes from the ceramic bonding between the particles in the refractory material. The higher the degree of ceramic bonding, the higher its strength. The ceramic bonding of high-alumina refractory products is mainly the result of liquid phase sintering, that is, the formation of a liquid phase in the refractory material at high temperatures promotes the bonding and material migration between particles. The higher the amount of liquid phase formed. The better the sintered strength, the higher the strength exhibited in the cold state. However, the cold state intensity and the hot state intensity are often contradictory. Although a large amount of high-temperature liquid phase promotes sintering and has high low-temperature strength, when used at high temperature, this large amount of liquid phase will reappear, and the high-temperature strength will decrease. The higher the amount of high temperature liquid phase, the lower the high temperature strength.
