Finite Element Analysis (fea)
Using FEA, design reliability is examined under applied operating loads and
conditions. This technique allows users to virtually test and predict real-world
behavior of new and existing product designs from the 3D model. Kubotek offers
FEA capabilities integrated with KeyCreator through a partnership with Algor,
leading developer of FEA and simulation technology.
FEA enabled products
DesignCheck - first-pass, single-body static analysis tool
KeyAnalysis – package of KeyCreator with a quick set-up,
multi-body static analysis tool
KeyAnalysis Pro – package of KeyCreator with multi-body static
analysis tool including a professional library of linear material models and
elements
Algor also offers a complete line of physics-based FEA capabilities and is the
only FEA program with a direct connection to KeyCreator. Installation of Algor’s
FEMPRO program inserts an Algor InCAD CDE module into any existing KeyCreator
installation which provides quick 3D model export and launch of a FEMPRO
session. Using KeyCreator together with Algor products delivers on one of the
major design benefits of 3D modeling. KeyCreator’s ability to easily adjust
models based on potentially unexpected knowledge gained from the FEA results
makes the combination especially powerful.

from the applied torque loads. The engine frame is part of the Magnum aircraft
designed by Aviation Enterprises Ltd.
